Knights of Columbus

What Is It?

The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

What Does it Do?

From the moment of their founding in 1882, charity has been the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. They are Catholic men of faith and men of charitable action.

The Knights of Columbus meet Sunday afternoons after the morning masses

Rev. Fr. James Reposkey, C.PP.S, pastor of the St. Alphonsus Church, presented the first set of officers of the newly formed Knights of Columbus St. Alphonsus Council 15840 on November 10, 2013 (Sunday).
 

Bro. Manuel M. Ching is the grand knight of the Knight of Columbus St. Alphonsus Council 15840. He is a Filipino businessman in Toronto.

Aside from Ching, the other officers of the KOC Council of St. Alphonsus include
Brother Liborio Mendoza, deputy grand knight; Brother Geronimo Gloria Jr., chancellor; Brother Meliton Tumamao, Jr,, financial secretary; Charles Magbanua,
treasurer; Brother Michael Mario Robles, recorder; Brother Vincent T, Valdez, warden; Brother Manuel Austria, lecturer; Brother Benjamin Ferrer, trustee (3 years); Brother Alejo Carizon, trustee (2 years); Brother Arthur Osias, trustee (1year); Brother Philip  Mendoza, advocate; Brother Odillo Ferrer, inside guard; and Brther Louwie Ramos, outside guard.
